Precast Concrete Inserts are a Plastic cast in place insert for use in common attachment applications in precast elements. The insert accepts a UNC threaded bolt. The Precast Concrete Insert is suitable for attachment applications but is not recommended for lifting or handling applications. Proper installation requires the insert to be cast perpendicular to the face of the element, with the opening to the threads level to the face of the element. Any misalignment of the insert will result in a reduction of safe working load capacity.
